The Path

Are you walking down a path someone has laid for you, or one you’ve paved for yourself?
I like to think that I’m walking down the path that God is leading me. With each step and each decision, I try to remember to seek Him.
I’m not perfect. I sometimes look back and think, “man, I didn’t pray about that.”
It takes intentional practice to turn to Him before advice from a friend, parent, or mentor.
Each of us makes decisions the way we feel fit. I hope that I will always look to Him first.
While making decisions in your business, it may not feel natural to ask God what He thinks. I’ve been there. I’ve made decisions thinking it’s what God wants me to do.
But I didn’t actually pray. Now, I do. (Or like I said: I try.)
Because I’m working on the habit still.
I do know a few things for sure: He wants what’s best for me, He loves me, and He has a good plan for me.
And He does for you too!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
